Gastone looked at himself in the mirror and glanced at his golden hair. He took his tie, which cascaded his hair down his waist. He hadn't cut it since it was his signature look that many women envied.
No man in the realm had the same hair texture as him, and at one glance, they would immediately recognize Gastone.
"I guess it's time for a change," Gastone muttered, taking scissors from the cabinet. It hurt him to cut the hair he took care of for years, but he would do it for Lucia.
"I'll keep you as a remembrance for my old self," Gastone whispered as he looked at his hair before chopping it down. His strands fell on the towel before him, and he felt a part of him was gone.
After an hour, Gastone left the bathroom with his hair wrapped in a tie. He wanted to keep it as a memory.
