The moon was covered with thick clouds as it started to rain heavily. Thunder and lightning struck the sky, and the wind blew strongly against the window.
The tiny candle in Gastone's room was blown, but no wind entered the space, yet he remained asleep.
The door creaked open, and a foot was seen against the darkness. It tiptoed closer to Gastone's bed and stayed before him.
"How cute," Lucia muttered without a sound. She grinned before climbing over Gastone's bed as slowly as possible, as she didn't want him to wake up.
Lucia stared at Gastone's sleeping face and adored his peaceful look, unlike when he was awake. She slowly removed the blanket covering his body, and to her surprise, he slept without a shirt on.
*Gasp*
Lucia was delighted to see Gastone's body that close, but it was hard for her to enjoy since it was dark, even though her eyes adjusted. She lifted her hand and placed it on Gastone's stomach.
