Lucia pursed her lips and walked away from her hiding spot. "I-It's already dark outside… Maybe tomorrow?" she whispered.
"Okay," Gastone sighed, wiping his wet hands. He walked past Lucia as he didn't want to talk longer, or else he would be the one begging for her to stay.
Lucia grabbed Gastone's shirt and pulled it back, wanting him to stop.
"What is it? Did you change your mind?" Gastone asked, stopping but didn't face Lucia.
"No… I just notice you're cold to me," Lucia muttered, tightening her grip on Gastone's shirt as if she didn't want him to go.
Gastone's face hardened. Her sulking voice struck his heart and made him weak. He didn't want to upset Lucia since that would only make his wolf crazy.
"I'm not," Gastone replied shortly. His body trembled from preventing his wolf from taking over.
