Megan stood up and offered her hand for Gastone to shake. She smiled innocently at him, showing her white teeth with a single gold tooth on her left canine.
"I'm Megan. Nice to meet you," she beamed, pushing her hand closer to Gastone.
Gastone squinted his eyes. He faced Navin and asked. "Did you pay already?"
"Ah, yes. Why do you ask?" Navin replied curiously.
"Good," Gastone grabbed Navin's arm, pulled him up and dragged him away from the table.
Megan was dumbfounded that she was ignored and rejected at the same time. She had planned to woo Gastone by her beauty, but it had no effect.
"Wait!" Megan shouted. Her pride was telling her she needed to be given attention by males.
As Megan was to run toward them, another man blocked his way.
"Don't you dare follow us," Jorge muttered sternly. His voice vibrated off his chest, showing rage and dominance, which surprised Megan.
