Lucia's hand slowly went behind her back, where a small knife was hidden.
"Come out. I know you're looking for me," Lucia stated sternly. Even though her shop was in the market's public place, it was mostly deserted since many shops were already closed and fewer people were walking there.
The figure in the darkness moved and stepped forward. His face was shown under the moonlight.
"Joseph, what are you doing here?" Lucia asked and sighed in relief. She thought it was one of her enemies.
"I came by to apologize, but you seem busy," Joseph shrugged and placed both hands in his pocket while looking away.
"Ah, I'm going to rest now. You should go home as well since it's already dark," Lucia replied, scrambling for her keys, but she didn't open the door yet.
"Is that Daniel Nutri?" Joseph asked and stepped closer to Lucia. He had a slight smile even though he was pissed.
