Lucia woke up with a terrible headache. "Ugh…" she sat up while rubbing her eyes.
Feeling disoriented, Lucia slowly glanced around the room, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep.
"I'm back in the shop," Lucia muttered, touching her head as she tried to remember what had happened to her. Yet, the pounding ache in her head refused to subside, persisting like a relentless drumbeat.
Lucia gingerly swung her legs over the edge of the sofa, wincing as the throbbing intensified with each movement. Her hand instinctively reached for the glass of water on the nightstand, hoping hydration might alleviate the discomfort.
With a shaky grip, Lucia brought the cool glass to her lips, taking small sips as she tried to piece together what had happened to her.
"Gastone…" Lucia muttered upon visualizing Gastone's face. Then the memories followed and the things she had done to him.
