Rosina was placed in a small room. The man left her there without any word and locked the door. She stood there with a deadpan expression and looked around the room.
The room had no windows, with two candles lit on each side as Rosina's light source. It was suffocating, and Rosina tried her best to keep calm and composed. She didn't want to think of anything else since the room opened up the memories she had closed.
"What should I do now?" Rosina stated and sat on the hard mattress. She grimaced at the texture, but she didn't mind it since it was better than staying at the cells where all she could lay on a used straw mat.
Rosina took the thin blanket to the corner and covered her body. It was cold since her clothes were torn apart and barely covered her legs. Her stomach grumbled in hunger, but she kept it in.
'I'm used to this before,' Rosina thought unconsciously as she curled into a small ball. That was when she realized what she had thought.
