The night was falling dark when Mark reached the hallway near the Crown Prince's chamber where Sheoran was assigned for the cleaning duty. Watching his approach, immediately two royal guards fended the giant golden door leading to Prince Xanthus's room with their mighty gigantic posture to forbid him from going any near.
One of them even narrowed his glare at him, "Hey! How dare a servant come here when you weren't summoned yet? Do you have a death wish?"
"No, Master. I have a reason to come here!" Mark quickly defended himself in a nervous voice and greeted them with a bow. Keeping his gaze down, he mumbled, "Master, I am looking for another fellow servant. Do you perhaps know about that young lad who was assigned for the cleaning duty here? Did you see him?"
