Chapter 277 - He's My Son

"Mommy, I'm so glad you're home," Leah said as she smiled, wiping tears off her face with her hands. She reached out her short arms to hug Wendy.

"Let me have a look at that first. I want to see how bad the fall was." Wendy wanted to pull Leah aside to check her wound.

But Leah refused to let go of her.

Leah shook her head. "No, no, no. If I let go, you will be gone before I know it."

"How could I be gone?" Wendy gently replied as she smiled and patted Leah's little head.

From the looks of it, she was probably not badly hurt.

Zess could not help but smile as she looked on. Wendy said, "Mind bringing the medical kit over? I want to clean and dress her wound."

Leah was not badly hurt. All she got were some minor abrasions and slight bleeding.

The wound just needed some disinfecting and an adhesive bandage.

Zess promptly left to get the first-aid kit.
