In this story which revolved around an all-powerful goddess as opposed to many Xianxia stories where the ML would be the all-powerful god, the ML was actually a very normal immortal being belonging to the fox clan. In other words, a fox fairy. At least, that would be how he appears at first glance.
And this ML fox fairy, in addition to being frivolous and seductive -as fox fairies were famously supposed to be-, was quite a clutz and had terrible fighting capabilities. His cultivation talent was also low, and he lacked any other talent like the ability to heal or farm or make divine pottery or whatever.
