So they blocked him at that point yet were decent enough not to throw him out of the company. Yang Jingshen would like to say that he totally understood. And any passer by would praise the company for being kind hearted even towards someone who brough a black stain to their name.
But the problem was the way they treated him afterwards, during the very difficult time period he was toiling to clear his name. Rather than providing any timely asistant, they instead let the situation turn for the worse. Which only proved that they never thought from his / Feng Xi's perspective and only ever thought of their own well being.
Of course, the company later resolved this whole matter and compensated him to an extent, but in Yang Jingshen's book, this wasn't enough.
