"We are sorry for the inconvenience, Miss, but we would like to see the body of the woman and your Boss. We don't know who she is," the officer said after they came out of the control room with a copy of the video.
"That is alright, you were just doing your job. You can call this number if you want to speak with my boss, we will make the necessary arrangements. The woman is in the janitor's closet," Abigail said and gave a card to them.
"Expect us by morning," they said and Abigail nodded her head.
Her job here was done, so she left the hotel. While walking away, she thought of what would have happened had Melody not seen that knife in time to escape it. She only got to see how it all started when the footage was played in the control room. While the police were taking a copy of it, she had also taken one for herself.
It was a shame that the woman had died and they could not interrogate her or torture her a little more.
