"Where were you all when she was attacked?" Damian coldly asked the leader of the Shadow guards who were with Melody and Diana. He was on a video call with them. He had wondered what it was that made them call him all of a sudden and found that it was because Melody was attacked where she and Diana went.
"Answer the president," Hans said. He stood behind Damian staring at the screen. They should have known how much the President valued those two women by now to not allow any harm to befall them.
"We acted as soon as we heard the commotion, President," The leader of the shadow guards said. He had his eyes cast down because of the anger he saw in the eyes of Damian.
"Don't be too harsh on them, they were not inside the building with them to know the exact moment it began. Ezekiel said. He and Lloyd walked in though it was already late.
