Melody frowned when she saw her Aunt walking away while her uncle did nothing to stop her but she did speak about it. It seemed to be a personal matter so she didn't think getting involved would help.
"Uncle Jacob," She called and started walking down the stairs with a smile on her face. Jacob returned her smile although it did not quite reach his eyes.
"You are all grown up, Melody," He said, spreading his arms for a hug. Melody smoked and hugged. While they hugged, she felt something amidst but she brushed it off because she had known her uncle since she was little and didn't think he would do anything to harm her.
"Hey Cuz," Melody said to Collins who still looked bothered that Hannah left after those last words. He snapped out of his thoughts when Melody stood in front of him and he gave a half smile that disappeared as fast as it came. "You should go and check on her," Melody whispered to him when they hugged.
