"How did this happen?" Scarlett asked, staring at the TV screen where Mr. Stones presented an endorser to the world. She was supposed to be the one out there but rather it was some unknown, low class celebrity who was chosen. "He did this on purpose. Couldn't he just give me a little more time?"
"Calm down Scarlett, maybe he has a reason," Darcy said. She was also watching the TV with a serious expression on her face but inwardly she was glad that whatever Scarlett had planned for Melody had failed that night which resulted in this.
She left the hotel that day only to learn of the incident from Scarlett when she was ranting about it. She was frustrated and somehow, Darcy enjoyed it.
"How do I calm down after all that I did to get it?" Scarlett screamed while glaring at Darcy but when she saw the expressionless face of Darcy, she turned to glare at the TV instead and then started pacing back and forth.
