At Starlight, Damian was busy when he heard a soft knock on the door and it was then pushed open from the outside shortly after. Hearing it open, he didn't need to looked to know who it was. There were only two people in the company who would do that.
"I heard from Diana that it would be Melody's birthday soon," Ezekiel said even before they got to a seat.
"Really?" Lloyd asked. He pulled a seat back and sat down. Surprise etched on his face as he awaited Damian's reply. "You never told us, is it near? Do I still have the time to get her a present? What does she like, I am not sure what I should get for her," he said when neither Damian nor Ezekiel spoke.
"You sound like Diana," Damian finally spoke. He put down his pen and closed the file that was in front of him. He then intertwined his fingers together with his elbows on the chair's armrest. "What is she up to now?" Damian asked, this time, directing his question to Ezekiel.
