"How did you know about this place?" Melody asked, staring at the door that led to an enclosure she had visited only once since moving into the mansion. It had an amazing view of the backyard and it was the highest point of the mansion.
"I had a little help," Damian replied with a smirk. "Now, shut your eyes, love," He said, going to stand behind her.
"Alrighy," Melody said and shut her eyes. "You are making me more curious now. Oh…" she said, feeling a blindfold being tied around her.
"For precaution," Damian answered her unasked question. He pecked her cheek as he came to stand beside her again and then opened the door. "I'll take your hand now," he informed and took hold of her hand. "Just follow me."
They walked inside with Melody following his lead with her heightened senses trying to figure out what was around her. "Stand still, I'll get the lights," he said and left her side.
