Melody walked into the waiting lounge and there, she saw Elder Liam and a few others from the Island seated there. They didn't look happy to be here.
"Took you long enough to come to meet your Elders, Melody," Liam said while glaring at her.
"Liam," Marianne called as she walked in from behind Melody. Stopping beside her, she placed a hand on Melody's shoulder and gave her a comforting nod. "Who comes uninvited to and respects the special treatment? Why are you all here anyway? Didn't you say you needed to rest after your trip?"
Liam went silent. How could he forget that this woman was here and would always defend Melody? "We have come here because of family matters. Something happened last night, that is why we have come," Liama replied.
