"Big…Brother…" She stammered, backing away when he took a step forward. Fear was evident in her eyes. This was the first time she had seen Damian this angry toward her and it scared her.
"What did I tell you the last time?" Damian asked. He had backed her against the wall, standing only a foot away from her. "Emma," he called when she remained silent.
"You said… you said you only saw me as a…little sister," Emma replied, her voice lowering with every word that she spoke and it almost became a whisper.
"Then what are you doing here?" Damian asked. Emma looked away from his gaze. Even his tone was not as gentle as it used to be whenever he talked to her.
