Ezekiel laughed because he had been asked this very question by Damian and now, it was his turn to answer it and to a love rival. Damian glared at him knowing why he was laughing but Ezekiel shrugged his shoulders.
"I have my plans," Damian replied. After a brief and a little thinking, he added, " I will marry her."
Those four words seem to have taken them aback. Even Ezekiel, who knew how serious the relationship between Damian and Melody was, was also surprised by his declaration.
Austin let out a throaty chuckle. "Who would have thought that you would say something like that?" He asked, still smiling disbelievingly.
"That is a relief then, I thought stepping would have been a mistake on my part if you didn't take her seriously," August said. Damian's reply was right to him. Melody was happy with Damian from all that he noticed at the party, so if it ended with a marriage between the two, he could take that. They will all still be friends.
