After watching Damian wash the vegetables, Melody started mixing the flour and whisking the ingredient needed to make the cupcakes. After a few minute had passed, Sister Beatruce walked back into the kitchen with ingredients needed to make the meal Damian wanted.
"Could you help take these into the oven?" Melody said to Sister Beatrice who
was more than happy to help. Melody then walked over to Damian and held his hand that was skillfully slicing the carrrots. "You can go back to just watching. I will take care of it from here. If I need help, Sister Bearltric is here to help me." she said to him in a soft tone.
"I want to assist you,"Damian persisted. He would rather be the one to accompany her here and cook than leave and just wait. This was something that he could do with her and he didn't want to sit in the corner and miss the opportunity.
"I promised to cook for you, not to work you," Melody refused.
