"You are still here, Diana?" Nicholas asked. Happy to know that there was someone to tell the truth about what happened.
"Yes, Papa, I was just leaving when I heard your conversation. Sorry that I eavesdropped but if I didn't, then she would have lied and soiled my brother's name," Diana said the last while turning to glare at Emma.
"What are you saying, Miss Frost? Emma wouldn't lie," Ye Chen who could no longer remain silent while they verbally attacked his daughter asked.
"My daughter would never lie either," Nicholas interjected. Diana had never lied to him, that was a fact.
"Do you know what happened, Diana?" Shelly asked, looking concerned outwardly but inwardly gritting her teeth and cursing at Diana's timing. She would ruin everything if she revealed what happened.
"I do, Second Mother, but I would like for Miss Chen to speak the truth herself," Diana replied.
