Mr. Stones swallowed the invisible lump in his throat. The girl was not bluffing. He stared at her and then at the man, his throat quickly ran dry. Knowing who she was made it even more terrifying. Squatting in front of him did not help to ease his fast beating heart either.
"Do you understand, Mr. Stone?" Melody asked and he gulped. "I would like to hear your voice. You were so talkative before now." Melody saw him break into sweat and a low chuckle erupted from her. She hadn't even told him what to do yet, but he was already sweating.
"What would you have me do?" He asked knowing there was no other way for him. He didn't have anyone here and he doubted even if he had some people, they would be able to do anything to the woman, she probably had her people guarding the place.
