"A warning," Shadow replied and Ace squinted at him. From the back, Sam made his way forward to stand beside Ace who didn't bother to spare him a glance.
"A warning?" Ace reiterated. He had thought about his reason for coming here but he never thought it was just for a warning. Melody would send her most trusted man to come to him just to warm him. He was impressed. "Why am I being warned?"
Shadow didn't respond, instead, he looked around at the people around them before returning his gaze to Ace. "Stay away from Melody. I have permission to kill you if you cause any harm to her but I have decided to give this warning this time because there was no physical harm done to her."
Ace's face twisted when he heard those words. He glared sharply at him but he remained unphased. Then around him even growled at him but just like with their master, Shadow didn't give a reaction to them.
