Now seated behind the desk, Melody looked at the man seated in front of her, no words had left her lips since walking out of the elevator making the air around them tense and awkward.
"...." Melody opened her mouth but it clamped shut again without a word. After a few more seconds had passed, she spoke, "I will create a tomb for them since there are none at the moment," the office stopped into silence again.
Melody felt the heavy atmosphere but she felt even heavier on the inside knowing that she hadn't done anything for her parents since her returning while away. She had no idea whether a tomb was created for her parents and she did not ask. Perhaps Aunt Marianne and Sandra must have done that back in Euphoria Island but wanted one here. One where she could always go to and pay her respect. Not in a place surrounded by people who didn't care about them.
