"How long have I been asleep?" Melody asked. Her eyes flew open the moment his hand touched her forehead. She looked past him at the window and could see an almost-setting sun. "You should have wokened me earlier," she sighed and sat up with the sheets wrapped around her.
"I didn't want to bother you. You are here to rest," he brushed her hair with his fingers and she shut her eyes pleased with the warm sensation.
"What are we having for dinner? What would you like to eat?" Melody asked, her eyes still closed.
"There would be no need for that, I am taking g you somewhere, we can eat there," Damian said and she smiled. "Go and get prepared, we will leave when you are ready."
"Alright," Melody his warm and soft lips on her forehead and her eyes that were about to open remained shut. "Are you sure you want me to leave?"
