"You didn't tell me where you have been the whole day, Damian," Melody said. She lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. He just walked into the room and she didn't even need to look to know that he was the one, her instincts were more than enough and she trusted them.
"I had something to take care of, I am sorry I was not here during the day," Damian replied. Walking in to see her in his bed inside this room gave me a different feeling. This was the room and bed he used while he was still a child and now, seeing her on it, the feeling was indescribable. He was so focused on her that he didn't realize that the door was left slightly open.
He walked to the foot of the bed and took off his shoes before climbing in it. "Did something happen while I was away?" he asked as he made his way toward her. He loomed over her with bus hands by her side while also caging her between his knees.
