Dinner went awkwardly, eating mostly in silence. The chilling air radiating from Damian and Ace could be felt by everyone but they just pretended they couldn't until it was all over and they all went their separate ways.
"Miss Nova, a world if don't mind," Nicholas had said the moment she and Damian stood up with Damian leading the way. She liked Damian who gave her a nod and let go of her hand.
"Of course," Melody replied and followed him as he walked out of the dining room to the balcony with seats and a table neatly arranged as if it had been prepared beforehand for them. It wouldn't be a surprise if this was what happened as the man would have been preparing to have a chat with her.
"Please sit down," Nicholas said, pointing to a chair in front of the one he had chosen to sit on. "Thank you for accepting my invitation," he said with a genuine smile.
