The sound of her phone ringing woke her up from her peaceful sleep. It rang the first time and she ignored it but when it rang again the second time she knew she had to pick it up. besides, she didn't want it to wake the man sleeping soundly by her side.
She grabbed the phone saw the name of the caller and sat immediately. She slides her thumb on the receive button before taking it to her ear.
"Smith?" Melody called. She looked at the still-sleeping Damian for a moment and then turned to look at the door.
"Boss," He answered and she frowned. He had agreed to call her Melody unless they were dealing with official matters. "You have to leave before dawn, Boss," He informed and she got even more confused as to why it had become rushed.
"What happened?" Her voice turned stern and commanding.
