As they walked down the stairs, all eyes turned to look at them. The first they noticed which caught their attention was the masked man whom they all knew of though very few had seen him in person and even those who had met him before don't even know what he looked like.
Then the woman who walked behind him was also wearing a mask that covered half of her face. They didn't need to know who she was seeing her with Shadow.
The chatter in the hall ceased and even the soft music in the background faded and all the focus was on the woman whom they had come to meet and celebrate with. Many of them just wanted to know what kind of person she was and compare her with her father. It was ridiculous to think that way when she had not even taken over fully yet but that was what they wanted.
