Early the next morning, Damian woke up looked at the space beside and sighed wishing a certain someone was right there. He grabbed a pillow and hugged it as if he was holding her. He closed his eyes for a while enjoying the peace that the morning gave but that was disturbed by the sound of his phone ringing beside him.
He wanted to ignore it and continue to feel this comfort a little longer but a little piece of him said he should check who the caller was and he did. The sleep that was still in his eyes left him and a smile formed at the corners of his lips when he saw that it was a call from the one whom he was just missing.
"You look…alright," she said and he gave her a look. "What happened?" she asked. He shut his eyes at the sound of her voice and her concern for him.
