"You think so? Do you think so?" Scarlett asked. She started chuckling which later erupted into laughter that scared Darcy. "Melody used to do everything, she was everywhere and I was nowhere. No one knew I existed until she was out of the picture," Scarlet said. There was a glint in her eyes that scared Darcy so much she wanted to leave but she felt Scarlett would come after her.
"Scarlett, please calm down," Darcy said. She had long stood up from the couch and put some distance between her and Scarlett. The woman looked like she could do anything right now and she was not in her right mind. "Calm down so we can talk."
"Do I look like I am not calm? I am very calm, the only thing that would make me not calm would be if you keep defending her." Scarlett said walking toward Datvy who took backward steps until she hit the wall behind her and Scarlett came to stand two feet away from her. "Don't defend her again and do as I say, I will remain calm, do you understand?"
