Chapter 137 - Lies

Leander took a deep breath snapping out of his mistake. He cannot open up to her. What will she do?

And more importantly, what can he do if she says anything that he doesn't want to hear?

What will she say when he says that a little mouse crept into that dangerously dark cave, shining a light, showing him how terrible of a place that is? What does he expect her to say when he says that the mouse had blurred the wall between the cave and the wilderness?

And that was the reason the lion snapped at the mouse at times, scaring her, having no leash on its monstrous tendencies. The lion can never hurt the mouse. And the lion wants the mouse with him forever.

And yet, the light shows the ugliness in him and around him. It confuses him to insanity and he lashes at the one shining the light rather than at the darkness. Forgive him, for he only knew the darkness. How can he react the right way?
