The entire house was silent as everyone had gone to bed. After she retires to her room, everyone goes to bed usually. She didn't want to take a walk outside anymore as she didn't want to disturb them.
She heard Luca's voice in the garden as she went to the kitchen. He was on the phone with someone. She was surprised he didn't sign off and go home till this hour.
"That's weird. Why?" Luca sounded so shocked by whatever was said to him by the person at the other end of the call.
Viviana got curious and listened. She wondered if there are some new gossips in the house. But Luca was talking in an anxious tone.
"Keep her in-? Steve, she is in! I told you; she didn't talk to that woman. She went inside the house. Is she in danger?" Luca asked.
Viviana gulped. Steve was at the other end and they were talking about her!
