Now that we were all fully settled down, we waited for teacher Hadleigh to give her acknowledgment with seized breaths.
I knew of Teacher Hadleigh not to be such a difficult person. I remembered the last time I, Mia and Mackenzie, or maybe Xena had arrived late for class and were hiding right under the window, she caught us and only instructed us to go in without any punishment. I was not disappointed now either. " Thank you," she said to us after examining the orderly and quiet class. " It wouldn't be fun to punish beautiful and promising magical students like yourselves" she beamed and just for humor or maybe some other element, but to me, I considered it as humorous. " Would it?" she added and the whole class chorused immediately.
" No teacher Hadleigh, it wouldn't"
Teacher Hadleigh only smiled and nodded her head before she commenced the lecture. " Now, let's get down to today's teaching. We have a lot to cover on our syllabus and little time too."
