Mia's POV

She did not know if her assumptions were right or this was just her mind playing games with her. The way Devarn secretly looks at Medusa whenever she was also secretly watching him was more than an harmless friendship gaze. She was sure.
This was the first time her heart would response to the presence of the opposite sex and she wished as hell that her expectations wouldn't go down the drain.
When Devarn told Medusa they all loved her more than she thought, she felt like there was more to that confession than a casual friendship profession.
But then again, she could only be paranoid and overthinking it all. That didn't stop her mood from getting ruined though.
She saw the silence that prevailed when she avoided Medusa's hold but she meant no harm. She was just too edgy to want to be touched.
