To my greatest dismay, my doppelgänger wanted to make the portal right in front of the house. In front of the goddamn street with all the police cars and policemen noisily chattering behind us.
I lept and grabbed a hold of her hand quickly before she could commit such an unforgivable stupidity.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I almost screamed, shaken and totally flabbergasted to discover the depth of her boneheadedness.
I scoffed even when I glimpsed the shocked and naive expression on her face. "Why?" She blurted out and I had to fight the urge to give her a loud spank as an answer.
She didn't know how wrong it was to create a portal right in front of a house with so many people behind?!
"Were you going to create the portal just now?" With all of the flesh on my face creeping into a big frown, I asked.
She blinked and then nodded. "I thought you wanted to go." She shrugged.
