I sat, panting for breath. Tomorrow was when the competition began – the first day of the competition.
Our school has been noisy and busy ever since. None of us had the time for each other. It's been five days since I last saw my friends – the girls and the boys.
I had been in the mind-maze cabin for days now. Not just me though; all of the other remaining contestants were too. That meant I had to bump into Loralie occasionally and that sucks.
Although, we had both mastered the art of acting like the other was invisible.
Except for the times when Annoying Jerk sends short letters to me through Draco who takes the form of a mouse, I haven't physically seen him since five days ago too.
ARGH!
