Once Mackenzie was out of the picture, I turned to Melina, fuming.
"And tell me, young lady, how am I living with the bad people?" I blurted.
Melina was serious as she replied. "Yes, Medusa. Your school is bad. People there are bad people."
I wanted to query her. The more I saw how entertained Annoying Jerk was watching her, the angrier I got. "Well, if you must know, nor everyone there is a bad person. We have very very good people in my school but we also have the bad ones. No matter what, bad people are everywhere, not just in my school. But judging the entire school and calling us bad people..?" I scoffed.
Before Melina could reply, I heard the door behind the counter creak and I turned its way. Anas, with her hair, braided into two and cladded in her nightwear excitedly screamed as she sighted me.
"Miss!" She ran my way while I opened my hands widely so that she could run into it.
