I came to find out that I was the one who was paranoid for no reason at all. Melina barely even interacted with Mackenzie and Anas. All she did was sit down there and watch us all talk.

For one, I knew now not to take her too seriously for she didn't look like someone who wanted to snatch my family from me. From what I've gathered, she was just a girl left to survive alone since she was little and just wanted somewhere to belong.
This left me wondering how she survived as a little girl.
I and Anas spoke a lot. She told me so much about her school and friends that when it was time to leave, it was almost Dawn.
I and Annoying Jerk needed to return to the school because we would be leaving for our various trainings in the morning. Annoying Jerk was even the leader of his team which left him with so much burden.
