"Mia will definitely get this one!" Bale's voice was optimistic and so was I but Mia seemed lost.
She was quiet and only adjusted her glasses. Pandora gripped my hand, her knuckles white with worry. Even Bale now held his breath, his eyes glued to Mia.
President Hadleigh's voice echoed again, carrying the mysterious question: "What has no voice, yet speaks to you? What has nobody, yet you can touch it? What has no life, yet it can die?"
Silence stretched, disrupted only by the pounding of hearts and the rustle of nervous breaths. My mind raced, searching for the answer, but even I wasn't sure of the answer.
"Time," Wyllow whispered beside us.
Pandora shot her a glare. "Yes, we know time is clicking by, Willow. There's no need to raise the tension in us and make us scared."
It was then that I realized Wyllow's point. My eyes widened with an epiphany.
