Teacher Hunter mainly smiled briefly and nodded his head. I guess he hadn't gotten the meaning behind my words.
"Thanks for bringing back the keys Eira, you ladies can tag along now. I will also be heading to the general hall soon. Or would you want to wait for me?" he asked us and I jumped while almost shouting my response.
"No!" I opposed then when he looked at me with his dimmed eyes as if he was surprised about my outburst. "I mean, the instruction was that we would be punished for lateness or not attending the meeting at all. I think we need to run along now. Don't you think, Senior Eira?" I said sheepishly while playing with my toes on the floor wondering if he did not suspect anything by my outburst.
His sudden laugh made my heart relax "Ok then, you ladies go now" he sent us off and I walked out his door immediately while senior Eira followed behind.
