"What was that about?!" Ferdinand fumed. "That elf was infuriating. What was he trying to do? He pretended to not have noticed me all this time and only looked in my direction earlier after doing that thing I have seen humans do. So annoying! Maybe, I should kill that elf and tear him to pieces?"
'What?! No! Why would you?' Arabella internally screamed.
'Wait, why is Ferdinand so annoyed? Is he interested in her and got jealous? Or was he simply annoyed because her lover provoked him?'
"But if I kill that man, those elves will likely follow me around. How bothersome. He seemed to be her companion too."
Arabella sighed in relief when Ferdinand decided not to kill the male elf.
