'Right. Ferdinand did say something like that.'
It completely left her mind, but she recalled it now. Still, there was no reason for Ferdinand to fight another primordial for that long since he was no longer trying to die.
Why would he fight with another dragon like that?
"It had been more than 16 millennia ever since His Majesty last fought with a fellow primordial. If they get too into the fight, there's nothing we can do but wait. But it might take years before they stop."
"No way. I might be old by then," Arabella recalled her dream about Raymond telling Ferdinand she may no longer be alive once he returned from Umbra.
'Is this what that dream was warning me about?'
"Doesn't he have to fulfill his duties as Emperor? Can't the Overseer in Estrella demand him to return?" Arabella recalled Elrond.
