Ever since the prince had promised to be by Varya's side each night, she had to keep her room much colder. With his internal fire constantly ablaze and wanting to sleep with her fully in his embrace, it was too hot unless she made the room cool beforehand.
However, that morning she woke up with her arms above the blankets and she immediately shivered even before her eyes could open. With a groan, she brought her arms underneath the covers and pulled them up to her forehead.
Varya grumbled something inaudibly and reached out her arm underneath the blanket only to feel that the bed had long gone cold since the prince must have left early.
There was an angry expression on her face as she hid underneath the fluffy blankets.
Soon she sat up and the frown became an evil smirk.
