Varya rushed to the hospital with Basileus and told the person sitting at the front desk that she was summoned because her guard was awake.
However, the alien at the front desk insisted she wash up before she see a patient and Varya readily agreed. She was able to go to the nurse's locker room and clean herself up. Luckily the spandex she wore inside of the lab coat was relatively clean so after washing off her body and face in one of the showers and folding up her lab coat to be retrieved later, she was ready to see the guard.
Basileus waited for her in the hallway and, when she rushed out of the door, she grabbed his hand and moved quickly down the hallway.
This was her first moment to prove she didn't care what people thought of her anymore. Soon the empire would know that they were together anyway.
