With his eyes shut and thoughts completely occupied, Basileus hadn't heard Varya come in yet. She used his lack of awareness to her advantaged and slowly backed out of the shower.
With a sigh, she leaned against the cold wall outside.
Varya wondered what he was thinking about or why he wouldn't come to her with his situation. She might go to bed quickly each night but she would prefer his advances rather than him suffering in silence alone.
