A hovercar had been loaded into the back of the ship Varya's friends had arrived in and it would be what Ebari brought the women to the bar in.
They had considered it to be an entirely women-only event, but Basileus and Theron wouldn't allow it and they ended up needing at least one warrior to escort them. Considering Varya was so close to Ebari already, she thought she should leave all the other men to bond and watch the child while their other halves had a little bit of fun.
Solana, Varya, and Ebari were already waiting on the beach with the hovercar powered on and floating a foot off the ground.
Dr. Salus was the last to come down the wooden stairs and onto the beach, but when the group saw her, all of their faces lit up in wonder.
"Dr. Salus!" Varya gasped. "You look breathtaking!"
