Ebari woke up before the suns could shine in through his window.
Years of having to wake up early as a general affected his every day and even when he had nowhere to be for hours, he always woke up before Planet Ptoma's suns.
He was surprised at his ability to sleep so easily in front of Varya and he turned towards the woman who had fallen asleep with her hand over a stack of papers.
A small smile appeared on his face at the sight. She worked harder than anyone he had ever known.
Not wanting the servants of the space station to see what they had been looking over, he took the papers from under her hands and put them in the correct files once again. After hiding them inside one of his nightstands, he picked up a soft blanket hanging over a chair in the corner of his room and brought it to Varya, placing it over her so only her face was showing.
He decided it would be best for him to exercise then shower before she could wake up.
