Holding his hands up in surrender as he rushed over to pick Haydon up out of the dirt. He had seen no one best Haydon in a fight.
It was shocking to watch how Christopher slung him around like a rag doll without even breaking a sweat. Bryson realized Haydon was right and that they should not test The Lord's patience any further.
Christopher glanced down at the two knights standing up from the ground as he stood on the top of the stairs leading up to the lodge's front door. He gave both men a murderous stare.
"Don't make the grave error of mentioning any of this to Rose."
"Yes, Milord," came the quick responses from the two men shuddering at his glare.
After Christopher had vanished inside, Bryson helped his fellow knight to his feet.
